White Hyacinth in Woodland

The Lantana is cut back and the Hyacinth are blooming through the mulch.

Winter Honeysuckle

The Winter Honeysuckle started early and is blooming off and on with the weather. The season is extended but the plants are half new buds and half dead buds all the time. The Lantana has been pruned back, Ivory Hyacinth and Daffodils are just now coming in, in it's place.

This Yucca does well even in dry shade.


These black eyed susans would probably like more sun but are doing ok with the hot afternoon sun.


The lambs ear seems happy with this location.


Lantanna, Trumpet vine, Larkspur.

Daisies


These sweet peas get no direct sun and were planted in late spring. They're growing very slowly.


Nigella planted this spring are a nice plant.

Yellow Bed

Lantanna is beginning to bloom but is very shaded out by the Cannas. Cut back the Magnolia after blooming.


The larkspur looks great with the yellow contrast. You could call it the color blind bed. The Elephant Ears are volunteers. 10 years here and we've never seen them. They must have been dormant for decades.


Lobelia looks good blue with yellow as well. These will be quickly shaded out by the marigolds though.


This black eyed susan needs severe staking around the beginning of May.
