Woodland

 The Spirea is not as full this year. It gets zapped and reblooms so the total is less at any one time.

Petanque court covered in "river sand" it only takes one wheelbarrow or so to cover the entire court. Heavy rains wash it through in spots so in needs to be recovered every month.

Snow Bells beginning to bloom

Arum is a great performer. These are Italicum.

Single Spirea moved here last year.

Double Spirea, started blooming very early. It's been bitten by frost and bloomed again.

Pruned and Mulched the Spirea, Abelia

Abelia and Spirea pruned for vase shape. Tallest Abelia shortened to match the row.

New mulch uses paper and cardboard under pine needles. Two Crepe Myrtle's removed due to fungus. One remains.
